This wonderful cocktail shaker from the 1920's is in the shape of a Rooster. It is in like new museum quality condition which is very rare at around 80 years old.  It is huge at about 14 1/4" tall with a very ornately curved tail that serves as the handle. The head comes off to put in the ingredients and the tongue unscrews to pour the drink. The bottom is stamped " W B 3880 Copyright USA ". It has a threaded screw cap with a rubber stopper that is like new.

Syrocco Wood Bartender shaped Corkscrew

                                                                BartenderCorkscrew.jpg (32783 bytes) BartenderCorkscrewOpen.jpg (32077 bytes)

This piece was on loan to the Museum of the American Cocktail from 2004 until January 2006. The Museum was located in The Pharmacy Museum in New Orleans.  It was then moved to the new museum located at The Commanders Palace inside the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas until November 2006.

This 8 tall bartender is actually a very rare corkscrew ca 1930's, supposedly in the likeness of Senator Volsted who introduced the bill for prohibition. It is almost like new shape with a little wear to the base and corkscrew itself. It even still has the original label on the bottom! It states "Syrocco Wood Syracuse NY"
