Rare Cork Top Cocktail Shaker $488.00

I've never seen one like it before! It is a mint condition 12 1/2" tall aluminum cocktail shaker with a cork ball top. The aluminum body is ribbed and in great condition. It looks like it has never been used inside or out.

 

 

 

 

Konga Cocktail Shaker Clear Bakelite Knobs $388.00

Great Konga Cocktail Shaker with clear Bakelite knobs, you don't shake your drinks you rotate it (preferably to the music). This will be one of your favorites.  This beautiful, 11" tall shaker is ca 1930. This staggeringly tall, staggeringly beautiful Cocktail ShakerkensingtonOpen.jpg (12148 bytes) was made by Kensington. Aluminum with a brass finial and not only has the strainer and cork but also the aluminum cork cover which is almost always missing It is almost perfect condition inside and out.

I believe the shaker to be made by Hazel Atlas and it is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. the aluminum is in great condition as is the clear glass body. It has nice holes in the strainer so that you get a good pour.

Chicago 1934 World's Fair Cocktail Shaker $83.00

Vintage  "Happy Days at the Century of Progress" Cocktail Shaker with drink recipes stamped into the aluminum. It is 11" tall and in pretty good condition, it has some of the black band wearing off in some places and it could a good cleaning. This rare shaker was produced by Aluminum Products Co. of La Grange, IL.

Marked on the bottom: BW Buenilum which the BW stands for Frederic Buehner-Warner
Buehner studied with  Kem Weber and  Walter von Nessen under Bruno Paul at The   Deutscher Werkbund Germany.
The Deutscher Werkbund (German Work Federation) was a  German association of  architects, designers and industrialists, an important precursor to the Bauhaus. It was founded in 1907 in Munich Frederic Buehner emigrated to the United States in 1929.  In 1933 he registered "Buenilum" which is the mark on the base

Wonderful cocktail shaker made ca 1947 by the Buenilum co. It is 11” tall, made of a lovely hammered aluminum and has a clear globe shaped finial. Turn the lid one way to shake and the other to pour. It is in very good shape, shiny and usable. It could use a little cleaning inside.

Wonderful cocktail mixer made ca 1947 by the Buenilum co. It is 11” tall, made of a lovely hammered aluminum that appears to have been brushed to a more satinlike finish while polishing. It has a nice long finial with a globe on the end and it has the original stir stick for those who prefer their martinis stirred not shaken. It could use a little cleaning inside.
